How much energy can a wind turbine produce?

This depends on many factors such as the height of the turbine, the surface of the land around it and of course the wind.

The colour-coded squares in the Windfarm Suitability mapping tool show the suitability of squares which we have linked to ranges of energy production for two of the most common sizes of generators 2MW and 2.75MW.
