ADAS attended the National Infrastructure Show in order to showcase its expertise in ecology and vegetation surveying to a range of clients.
In October, ADAS attended the National Infrastructure Show at the NEC. The three day show encompassed four main infrastructure sectors comprising of highways, airports, utilities and rail, with our stand within the Rail Hub.
The show was an ideal opportunity for us to showcase our expertise in ecology and vegetation surveying and to speak to current and potential clients about our ability to provide fixed price solutions to wildlife constraints. Tight timescales are often a feature of infrastructure projects and the show enabled ADAS project managers to explain to visitors how they work with design and implementation teams to provide timely solutions.
The show provided the chance for our surveyors to demonstrate the hardware and software they use to capture data in the field. The efficient and reliable collection and management of survey data is an increasingly important component of the ADAS offer. For clients responsible for infrastructure networks, such as Network Rail, we have developed project specific software systems to drive efficiency and to improve the quality of the service provided.
Reflecting the breadth of our offer, visitors to the stand were from many industry sectors including Government, Network Rail, the Highways Agency, utility companies, consulting and civil engineers.
The show was an opportunity to maintain and expand important relationships with our clients and also to introduce potential new clients to ADAS’ solutions to environmental constraints.
For infrastructure, land-use change and other development projects, ADAS provides fixed price ecological surveys and solutions to ecological constraints. Our arboricultural consultants work on a range of projects from national tree surveys to single site developments. They are familiar with the constraints trees can pose to development and also with negotiating the best possible solutions with Authorities. Our experienced staff are experts in their field and are keen to contribute to a wide range of client projects.
