Marine and Coastal Access Bill

ADAS has been at the heart of the research which has guided the development of the Marine and Coastal Access Bill, working alongside Natural England to assess the extent and quality of public access provisions to enable decision making.

The new legislation will introduce measures to conserve marine life and place a statutory obligation on local authorities and landowners to make provisions for a new public right of way around Britain's coastline.
