Protecting water from herbicides

A range of information has just been published to help farmers and agronomists manage oilseed rape to minimise the risks of oilseed rape pesticides reaching water.

An ADAS report has highlighted the importance of oilseed rape as a vital crop to many farmers and the threats to its continuing availability. The information below summarises this and provides information and management guidance designed to help keep it that way. James Clarke, ADAS said "It is vital that all farmers and agronomists adopt best practice and stewardship to ensure they can continue to grow and retain the benefits of this valuable break crop.”
