Minimising diffuse water pollution from agriculture in the Hampshire Avon - Update

Pollution associated with agriculture must be controlled to protect the ecological integrity of aquatic habitats. According to Defra, farming is responsible for about 60% of nitrates, 25% of phosphates and 70% of sediments in freshwater across England and Wales. Adrian Collins provides details of the progress and direction of this major project.
